Memorial Day 2007

Well, Today is a beautiful day in Elko Nevada. I put these photos up because I don't think anyone has seen them yet. I forgot about them for a while, isn't Collette the cutest! Tonight We will most likely stay home and party. I am planning on making some homemade BBQ sauce. Saturday night Stephen and I lead worship for the Saturday evening prayer time, both of us with a slight head cold. We were asked by one of the ladies that was from another church to play for her congregation. Yesterday Stephen played the guitar at church and I was the sound team! We have been enjoying our time here and with such awesome people too. I love that our pastor and local pastors from different denominations meet together to pray and lift up the youth of Elko. There are so many ministry opportunities here. For Stephen and I we don't want to rush into a million things but use our gifts as God guides praying always for the opportunity to share Christ. Yesterday the pastor shared the importance of moving with the Lord that some people may have been called to Elko like his family or in Elko for a time until God moves them on. Stephen and I don't have a ten year plan for our life; we do know that God has called us to pay off our debt to be available and ready. So, we are waiting, praying for Gods guidance and direction, knowing he will show us what we need in His time.
