What a beautiful day in Elko it is! Today is Stephen's last day off, so we are probably going to go to Lamoille canyon to see the beautiful snow cap peaks of the ruby mountain; Gods country some will call it. This morning Collette and I went to the park for the women's bible study. Last week was my first time and I made many beautiful friends, I even acquired a walking buddy. Both last week and today we spent the majority of the time praying for each other and sharing Gods blessings in our life. Collette Loves park day she is so busy with all her new friends she is so independent, She did wave to me once though.
I feel like we have been here for longer then two weeks, probably because I feel like I have known some of these people for much longer. I thank God for the friendships and the Love, where he guides he truly does provide-Amen! Yesterday Stephen, Collette and I went to worship practice, we had fun, but we are in desperate need of a guitar.
I am really itching to paint, I have some ideas, pray for creativity, I pray my paintings can be a testimony of Christ in me. They have so many different opportunities for artists, I hope I can get plugged in. Oh , of course I'm even more inspired after going to the museum yesterday, yes we are officially members of the Northeast Nevada Museum. Collette had fun looking at all the animals. After seeing the movie "the museum" I had to explain to her they weren't going to move, she still wasn't so sure of the lion, but she loved all the 'babies' (anything smaller then her). we are in the process of getting a camera to send some pictures of the area, but until then enjoy Collettes many cute photos.Ta Ta for now -Cara
